Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 1.1.
How to generate a Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 1.1 installation / uninstallation trace file:
- Download and extract ksv_deploy_trace.zip on a host with Administration console installed.
- If there is Kaspersky Anti-Virus installed on that host, you should disable its Self-Defense.
- Launch next file to start generating a trace file:
- KSV_deploy_trace_on_x32.reg – for 32 bit OS.
- KSV_deploy_trace_on_x64.reg – for 64 bit OS.
- Reproduce the issue by starting to install / uninstall Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 1.1.
- Launch next file to stop generating the trace file:
- KSV_deploy_trace_off_x32.reg – for 32 bit OS.
- KSV_deploy_trace_off_x64.reg – for 64 bit OS.
The trace file named YYYY-MM-DD-HH-MM-SS.log can be found in the DeploymentTrace subfolder inside the Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 1.1 plug-in installation folder. By default, these are:
- C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Security Center\Plugins\KSV1.plg\DeploymentTrace – for 32 bit OS.
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Security Center\Plugins\KSV1.plg\DeploymentTrace – for 64 bit OS.
Attach the trace file along with a detailed description to the Technical Support request.
