With Windows XP and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 installed on your PC, the following problems might appear after installation of Service Pack 3 for Windows XP:
  • a large number of damaged records occur in the system registry
  • network cards are not displayed in the Device Manager and in the properties of Network connections
  • the Task manager window is empty and does not contain information about running programs and processes
Resolution: Kaspersky Lab’s experts recommend disabling self-defense of Kaspersky Anti-Virus before installing Service Pack 3 for Windows XP.

After installation of Service Pack 3 and PC restart , enable the product self-defense back.

If the resolution did not help, contact Kaspersky Lab Technical Support by sending a request via the My Account service.
