On August 8, 2012 Kaspersky Lab released a new patch G for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 for Mac.
Patch G is automatically installed once anti-virus databases of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 versions 8.0.4.746, 8.0.5.812, 8.0.6.863 and 8.1.3.81 are updated.
Patch G eliminates the following errors:
- Program freeze at the system turn off.
Installation:
In order to install patch G, perform the following actions:
- Run anti-virus databases update.
- Once databases are updated, restart your computer.
- Once the system starts, open the main application window.
- Click on the Support button in the upper part of the window.
- If patch G is successfully installed, you will see the letter g in the version line.
