In some cases the error "Activation error: Cannot set up SSL connection" may appear on the screen.
In order to disable the use of a proxy server in Kaspersky Anti-Virus, perform the following actions:
Configure the start of the Workstation service by performing actions from Configure How a Service Is Started.
In the Services window, right-click the Workstation item and select Start from the opened menu. Go to Step 2.
If the Services window does not contain the Workstation item, perform the following actions:
In the bottom left corner of the screen, click Start.
In the Workstation properties window on the General tab in the Startup type section select Automatic or Manual from the drop-down menu. Click OK.
