When activating Kaspersky Internet Security 2013, in the Activation window you may see the message: "Activation error. Cannot set up SSL connection".
You can use the following methods to fix the problem:
Configure the start of the Workstation service by performing actions from Configure How a Service Is Started.
In the Services window, right-click the Workstation item and select Start from the opened menu. Go to Step 2.
If the Services window does not contain the Workstation item, perform the following actions:
In the lower left corner of the screen, click Start.
In the Workstation properties window on the General tab in the Startup type section, select Automatic or Manual. Click OK.
If the solutions given above did not help to resolve the issues, contact Microsoft Technical Support.
Release of antivirus database updates (required to protect your computer/server/mobile device)
Providing technical support over phone / web
Release of patches for the application (addressing detected bugs)
*Installation under Windows 8.1 is not supported by the current version.
