Kaspersky Tablet Security Maintenance Pack 5: version 10.2.29 (Android)

On October 3, 2012, Kaspersky Lab announces release of Maintenance Pack (version 10.2.29) for Kaspersky Tablet Security (for Android OS). 

Improvements:

• Reports about program work (Anti-Virus and Web Filter) are added.
• The web portal address is changed to https://anti-theft.kaspersky.com.
• Heuristic scan during Protection operation is added.

Kaspersky Tablet Security functionalities

Kaspersky Tablet Security ensures a complex protection of tablets. The application provides the user with the following functionalities: 

• On-access file scan for suspicious activity;
• Scan of new apps after installation; 
• Additional scan of new apps before their first run via the Kaspersky Security Network cloud service; 
• On-demand or scheduled scan of the device file system for viruses or other malware;
• Capability to disinfect infected files, quarantine or delete them, if disinfection fails; 
• On-demand or scheduled update of anti-virus databases (the Internet connection is required); 
• Capability to lock device remotely via Web portal, if it is lost or stolen; 
• Capability to delete data from device remotely via Web portal, if it is lost or stolen;
• Capability to locate the tablet remotely, via Web portal, if it is lost or stolen;
• Capability to take photos remotely with front camera of device, via Web portal, if it is lost or stolen;
• Block of malware and phishing websites. 
• New! Creating reports about work of the Anti-Virus and Web Filter components.
