Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows can be installed from Windows command prompt.
How to start the Setup Wizard from the command prompt
Use one of the commands to start the Setup Wizard:
- msiexec /i <package path>\<package name>,
for example, msiexec /i "C:\kes 10.1\en\exec\Kes10win_x64.msi".
- <setup.exe file path>\setup.exe,
for example, "C:\kes 10.1\en\exec\setup.exe"
How to start a silent installation from the command prompt
Enter the command to install or upgrade the application in silent mode (without running the Wizard):
- msiexec /i <package path>\<package name> EULA=1 KSN=1 KLPASSWD=<password> KLPASSWDAREA=<protected area> ALLOWREBOOT=1 /qn
- or setup.exe /pEULA=1 /pKSN=1 /pKLPASSWD=<password> /pKLPASSWDAREA=<protected area> /pALLOWREBOOT=1 /s,
where (for both commands):
EULA=1 means automatic EULA acceptance. The installation will not proceed with EULA=0.
KSN=1 means acceptance to participate in the Kaspersky Security Network (KSN) program. It's a required parameter without a default value.
KLPASSWD sets a password authorizing certain actions with the application and modification of application settings.
KLPASSWDAREA is used in combination with KLPASSWD and can be one of the following:
SET - set a password for changing the application settings.
EXIT - set a password for exiting the application.
DISPROTECT - set a password for disabling protection components and stopping scan tasks.

For example, msiexec /i "C:\kes 10.1\en\exec\Kes10win_x64.msi" EULA=1 KSN=1 KLPASSWD=password KLPASSWDAREA=EXIT ALLOWREBOOT=0 /qn
or "C:\kes 10.1\en\exec\setup.exe" /pEULA=1 /pKSN=0 /pKLPASSWD=P@ssw0rd /pKLPASSWDAREA=SET /pALLOWREBOOT=1 /s.
