On February 9, 2013 Kaspersky Lab announced the release of Patch C for Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows (version 8.1.0.831).

Patch C is not cumulative and doesn't cover fixes that are included in patches A and B.

Issues fixed

Patch C fixed the issue when, after successful patch B installation, the Administration Console of Kaspersky Security Center 9 showed the "Protection Is Off" status for the affected client computer, once an active user logged off.

The client computer was not protected until any user logged in to the operating system, which started SRV and GUI processes.
