When installing a trial version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows the following error may occur at the activation step: "The key file is not compatible with this application. It is impossible to activate Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows by using the key for another application."
To solve the issue, please do the following:
Click Back in the window with an activation error.
Select Activate later at the activation step.
Proceed with the rest of the installation steps for Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows.
When the installation is complete, open Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows.
Start the database update.
Restart the computer.
Upon restart, open Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows again.
Open the application activation window, select Activate with a key file and add the trial key file.

Release of patches for the application (addressing detected bugs)
