Unlike the password saving and auto-complete features of web browsers, using Password Manager in Kaspersky PURE 3.0 grants the following advantages:

  1. Password Manager allows creating and saving passwords not only for web pages, but also for applications.
  2. Password Manager provides protection of your passwords and personal data by password-protection of encrypted databases.
  3. Password Manager allows saving a great amount of passwords and accounts for one website.
  4. Password Manager allows to fill out the fields of the login form on a web site with the data from an identity. Once an identity is created, you will not need to fill out the login fields next time you visit a web site.
  5. Password Manager allows to synchronize passwords database with an online vault and to use the password database on any computer with Kaspersky PURE 3.0 installed and Password Manager synchronized.

It is not recommended to use Password Manager simultaneously with the built-in password saving and auto-fill features of browsers.

Conflict may arise when Password Manager in Kaspersky PURE 3.0 and browser password manager will both try to enter your password and login data. As a result the authorization form will be filled in incorrectly.

For the same reason it is not recommended to use several password managers as they will interfere with each other’s work.
