If you purchased a boxed version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 (on a compact disk) and the product installation started automatically after inserting the CD into your computer, skip to step2 of the installation (see below).
If you purchased Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 through an online store or if the installation did not start automatically for some reason when you inserted the CD, move to step1 of the installation (see below).
How to install the application
Step 1. When you purchase Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 through an online store, you receive a link to an installation file that must be started manually. The installation file should also be started manually if the installation did not start automatically when you insert the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 CD.
Download the installer using the link in the email from the online store or from the Kaspersky Lab website. The following pages contain information on how to download the file:
Step 2. To start the installation, click Install in the window of the Setup Wizard.
Step 3. Read the Kaspersky Lab End User License Agreement. If you accept all its terms, click Accept. The installation will continue.
If you are installing the application on Windows Vista/7/8, you may see a notification from the User Account Control (UAC) service. To continue the installation, enter an administrator password in the User Account Control window and click Yes.
Step 5. Wait for the installation to complete.
Step 6. Make sure the Start Kaspersky Anti-Virus checkbox is selected and click Finish to complete the installation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014.
When the application starts, activate your retail copy of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 .
