Concerning to Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP1

The error occurred in a beta-version of Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 and has been fixed by now. If the same error still occurs in Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP1 it means you have installed the Administration Console “on the top” of the Console version with this error. Unfortunately such installation type does not rectify the error.

To rectify the problem, do the following:

  • delete the Administration Console and install the Console from Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP1;

or

  • delete the application control plug-in for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers, which contains the error and install the plug-in fixed version.

For it

1. define the version of the installed control plug-in for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers: go to the Administration Server properties > the General tab > click the link About the plug-ins installed for the application.

2. delete the plug-in by running the following command (close the Console before deletion):

      • msiexec.exe /X{F80373B5-40DD-46E9-8D56-EEA1AE6DB63E} - if the version of the installed plug-in is 6.0.2.586 or earlier

      • msiexec.exe /i{F80373B5-40DD-46E9-8D56-EEA1AE6DB63E} - if the version of the installed plug-in is 6.0.2.587 or above.

3. install the fixed application control plug-in by either:

      • creating an installation package for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 MP2 for Windows Servers;

      • by running the file klcfginst.exe from the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 MP2 for Windows Servers distributive on a computer with the installed Console (before running the file it is recommended to close the Console).
