Concerning to Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP1
Reason: such errors occur due to bad or unstable Internet connection. To resolve the problem, you should do the following:
Try to run the update task after fulfilling each recommendation. You do not need follow all recommendations if the update task finishes successfully.
1. Check the version of the Administration Server installed.
You are recommended to update your Administration Server version to 6.0.1591 if any other version is installed.
If Administration Server version 6.0.1565 or 6.0.1572 is installed, in this case instead of updating the application version, install the patch for the updater component (this patch is included into 6.0.1591 version distributive).
2. On the computer – Administration Server under the same user account which is specified in the update task of Administration server, open the Internet-browser, enter the address http://dnl-eu1.kaspersky-labs.com/index and try to download the file u0607g.xml.
If the file is downloaded, go to the next recommendation. If it is not, check the proxy and internet connection settings, specified in the update task of Administration Server.
Check, that NO restrictions are set on the proxy-server.
3. Open properties of the update task > go to the Settings tab > click the Update list button. In the open window enable only Download updates for all Kaspersky Lab applications installed on the network – all other boxes should be cleared/ disabled.
If the update task finishes successfully with this setting, in this case enable other boxes, if necessary.
4. Open properties of the update task > go to the Settings tab > click the LAN Settings button. In the open window increase the time-out to 120 seconds.
If, even after the recommendations fulfillment, the update task does not run successfully, in this case enable the updater tracing on the Administration Server, run the update task, wait until the task finishes (do not stop the task manually!) and disable tracing. Next, enter the properties of the update task and on the General tab click the Results button. Highlight all records which refer to the latest task start, right-click them and select the Export command (during the wizard session enable the box Export selected events only).
Next, create a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support. In the request describe the problem; mention that you have performed all recommendations from the article. To the request attach the generated trace file and exported results of the update task
