Concerning to Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP1
The license agreement signed after your purchase a Kaspersky Lab application grants you the right to use Kaspersky Anti-Virus applications for the duration of your licensing period. The program you installed automatically checks for the license agreement and determines the licensing period using a license key that is a part of every Kaspersky Lab application. An application can have only one active license key. The license key contains terms for using the software that can be read and verified by special program means.
After the licensing term is over, the anti-virus database update function is not available in anti-virus applications; and the Anti-virus does not function with the database copied manually.
If you have no license key or a trial key has expired, the application will not load.
In the Kaspersky Administration Kit application the administrator can view the state of license keys installed on the clients’ computers in the logical network and prolong the licenses.
The Kaspersky Administration Kit complex and the Administration Agent do not require a license.
Information about all license keys installed on client computers of the logical network is stored in the Licenses node in the console tree. It is automatically delivered from client computers of the logical network.
Information about the keys which are included to the installation packages or are defined in the license key install tasks, but which are still not installed on client computers is not displayed in the node.
Based on the information about the installed license keys reports about the state of installed license keys are generated and the administrator is notified about the keys which are about to expire, about the license agreement has been exceeded, etc.
