Administration Console is an interface granting access to the functions Administration Server both locally and via net. Administration console is a module for Microsoft Management Console, i.e. a standard interface to execute administration tasks in operating systems Microsoft Windows based on NT technologies

You can control any number of Administration Servers installed in the LAN via one Console.

Administration Console can also control antivirus applications locally, i.e. Console and Kaspersky Anti-Virus can be installed on the same computer. You need not install Administration Console in the LAN in this case. But it is strongly recommended to install Network agent on the same computer. For example, Console installed on the file server can be used to control the application Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows file Servesr that do not have user's interface.

Administration Console is installed locally either with the Administration Server, or separately on any computer in the LAN that meets system requirements. The number of Consoles in the net is not limited. Administration Consoles can also be installed silently.

To display the settings parameters of each Kaspersky Lab products in the Console interface correctly use Application management Plug-in. This application management plug-in is embedded in the Console during the installation.
