Concerning to Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP1

The folder into which the Administration Server stores anti-virus databases, patches downloaded during the Administration Server update task and installation packages is defined when the Administration Server is installed. By default the folder Share resides in the Server setup folder (C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Administration Kit).

The public folder can be relocated after the Server installation, in order to change the folder location specify any local/network folder for it:

1. Create in the network a new folder which will be a new storage for databases and packages.

2. Give the access rights to this folder to all necessary accounts.

3. Open the Administration Server properties > go to the General tab > click the Browse button and specify the path to the new folder.

As a result the contents of the initial public folder will be copied to the new folder and the logical network will start working with the new folder only.
