Concerning to:
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows File Servers MP4 (builds 5.0.77 - 5.0.78)
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows File Servers MP3 (builds 5.0.72 - 5.0.74)
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers (all builds)
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 4.5 for Microsoft Exchange Servers 5.5/2000/2003
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.5 for Microsoft Exchange Servers 2000/2003
  • Kaspersky Security 5.5 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003
  • If you install Kaspersky Anti-Virus on a server on which any anti-virus application for mail server is already installed (or is going to be installed in the nearest future) then in Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Servers in the real-time protection and on-demand scan tasks it is recommended to exclude from scan:

    • virtual disc M: (for Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 only),
    • the Store subfolder in the setup folder of Kaspersky Anti-Virus or Kaspersky Security for Exchange Server. The Store subfolder includes:
      • temporary directory that is used by the anti-virus for mail servers;
      • the quarantine directory to which anti-virus mail servers will quarantine infected objects (if the mail anti-virus has such option).
