Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 detects Adware, spyware and diallers. These programs are not malicious by their kind and do not contain the destructive code, but are potentially dangerous.
The function to detect the adware, spyware and diallers in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 is enabled by default. To disable this function, do the following:
- open the main application window
- click the Settings button
- choose the Threats and exclusions link
- in the right part of the window in the Malware categories section clear the box Spyware, adware, dialers.

Legal programs like VNC, RemoteAdmin are not normally referred to as malicious or dangerous software, nevertheless they may also be regarded as "riskware", because when misused such programs can harm your computer.
Remote access utilities and prank programs can also be classed as "riskware" in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0. By default the function to detect this kind of riskware is disabled to try to minimize alerts on legitimate programs such as RemoteAdmin.
To enable the function, do the following:
- open the main application window
- click the Settings button
- go to the Threats and Exclusions link
- in the right part of the window in the Malware categories section check the box Potentially dangerous software (riskware)
- click the Apply and OK buttons
