To open the Update List window open the Server update task > Properties > the Settings tab > click the Update List button. In the window you can define the updates for the Kaspersky Labs applications; these updates will be downloaded on the Administration Server in the shared folder C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Administration Kit\Share\Updates (by default).
Administration Server can copy updates in four modes. Mark the necessary mode in order to activate it:
download updates of known threats and application modules for all Kaspersky Lab’s products (except for personal products)
In order to choose this mode, check the box Download all available updates.
download updates of known threats and application modules only for the applications which are managed via this Administration Server.
In order to choose this mode, check the box Download updates for all Kaspersky Lab applications installed in the network.
When this checkbox is enabled you do not have to check any boxes in the table below (the installed applications are detected automatically and thus the necessary updates will be downloaded for them)
combined. When using this mode the administrator can additionally - to the set of updates which are necessary for the applications managed via this Administration Server - download other databases and modules.
In order to set this mode, check Download updates for all Kaspersky Lab applications installed in the network and in the update list check the necessary update types to be downloaded.
After it Kaspersky Anti-Spam 3.0 can update form the shared folder on the Administration Server.
choose independently which updates to download
In order to set this update mode, clear both checkboxes in the upper part of the window and check the necessary update types in the table. In this case the Administration Server will download only checked databases and modules.
If you update the Administration Server not from the Kaspersky Lab’s sites but from another update source, pay attention to the update contents on the update source. The source should contain full set of the updates demanded in the update task and these update sets should not be a-synchronized; otherwise the Server update task will finish with an error.
