Concerning to Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP1
The recommendations given below SHOULD NOT be used on client computers running under Windows XP Home Edition.
Due to restrictions of the network access in the workgroup, before performing remote uninstallation, you should change the model of shared access for local accounts from Guest only - local users authenticate as Guest to Classic - local users authenticate as themselves (see KB46 for more details).
For it, on a local computer go to Start > Run > enter gpedit.msc. In the open window select Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options and in the result panel right-click Network Access: Sharing and security model for local accounts and select properties.
Make sure, that the Admin$ resource is available on each computer.
Once the described actions are performed, create the task of remote install with the “Push install” type.
In the remote push install task an account from the group of local administrators on a target computer (on the computer where the installation is being performed) should be specified.
If the recommendations given above cannot be carried out, in this case remote installation of teh Agent can be performed the follwoing way:
1. Create an installation package for the Network Agent (if it does not exist yet).
An installation package will be saved in the folder Share\Packages\NetAgent 1.0. If the folder already contains the created package for the Agent, then the folder for the new package will have the name NetAgent 1.0 (1).
2. Copy the file Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Administration Kit\lsexec.exe to the folder of the installation package.
3. Ask users to manually run the following command (to install Network Agent silently):
"\\COMPUTER_NAME\Share\NetAgent 1.0\lsexec.exe" /S
where COMPUTER_NAME - is the name of computer where the Share directory with the Netwrok Agent installation package is open for reading
