Kaspersky Mobile Security 7.0 Enterprise Edition

KMS 7.0 EE Installer is a utility which performs installation of Kaspersky Mobile Security 7.0 Enterprise Edition on a mobile device.

This utility can be remotely installed on a computer via a remote install task in Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP2

The KMS 7.0 EE Installer utility registers itself in the system registry. That is why if Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations is installed on your PC then the utility should be installed by means of the Administration Agent (see the Settings tab of the remote install task).

If the Agent is not installed/ is not running, then before starting the task for execution disable on all target computers Registry Guard in the Proactive Defense.

Once KMS 7.0 EE Installer is installed it resides in the computer RAM (kmlisten.exe). When connecting a mobile device to the computer (via a cable/cradle), KMS 7.0 EE Installer will prompt to install Kaspersky Anti-Virus Mobile 6.0 Enterprise Edition on this device.

Microsoft Active Sync should be installed on a workstation otherwise the KMS 7.0 EE Installer utility will fail to detect a connected mobile device.

Select a device from the list of suggested devices and press the Install button. To abort the installation, press Close.

To disable automatic start of KMS 7.0 EE Installer on detection of mobile devices (even those on which Kaspersky Mobile Security is already installed) check the box Stop KMS 7.0 EE Installer from looking for devices in the KMS 7.0 EE Installer window. As a result KMS 7.0 EE Installer will be unloaded from the computer RAM.

The utility KMS 7.0 EE Installer can be uninstalled from a client computer locally only via Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.

If you have enabled the box Stop KMS 7.0 EE Installer from looking for devices and thus have unloaded it from the computer RAM, but have not removed the utility from the computer and want to install Kaspersky Mobile Security 7.0 Enterprise Edition on a mobile device, then manually run the file C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Labs\Kaspersky Mobile Security 7.0 EE Installer\kmlisten.exe and connect a mobile device to the computer.
