  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 SOS
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 SOS
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers (all builds)

  • In the application mentioned above the user can exclude objects from the tasks of on-demand scan and real-time protection. Examples of allowed masks for exceptions:

  • Masks without paths:

    *.exe
    – all files with the *.exe mask
    *.ex? – all files with the *.ex? mask, where instead of the ? mark any symbol can be used.
    test – all files named test

  • Masks with absolute paths:

    C:\dir\*.*
    - all files in the C:\dir\ directory
    C:\dir\*.exe - all files with the *.exe mask in the C:\dir\ directory
    C:\dir\*.ex? - all files with the *.ex? mask in the C:\dir\ directory, where instead of the ? mark any symbol can be used.
    C:\dir\test - the file C:\dir\test only
    C:\dir\ - all files in the C:\dir\ directory and its subdirectories

  • Masks with relative paths:

    dir\*.*
    - all files in all dir\ directories
    dir\test – all files named test in all the dir\ directories
    dir\*.exe – all files with *.exe masks in all the dir\ directories
    dir\*.ex? – all files with *.ex? masks in all the dir\ directories, where instead of the ? mark any symbol can be used.
    dir\ – all files in all the dir\ directories and all their subdirectories

  • Examples of allowed threat masks, verdicts (for 6.0 version):

    not-a-virus:AdWare.* – do not detect adware during the scen (Gator and the like)
    not-a-virus:Riskware.* – do not detect riskware during the scan
    not-a-virus:Client-IRC.* – do not detect Client-IRC that can be deployed by malware (MIrc and the like)
    not-a-virus:Dialer.* – do not detect potentially dangerous dialers
    not-a-virus:RemoteAdmin.* – do not detect remote control utilities (RAdmin and the like)
    not-a-virus:Server-Proxy.* – do not detect proxy-servers that can be deployed by malware

    Note: Entry of masks *.* and * without a path is not allowed.
