When installing Kaspersky Mobile Security 7.0 Enterprise Edition via SMS onto a mobile device, an SMS-message is sent onto a mobile device via Administration Server with the URL of the installation package. When the URL is opened an installation package of Kaspersky Mobile Security is loaded and installation of the application begins.
1. Make sure pre-installation preparation has been performed on the Administration Server.
2. To create and to send SMS, right-click the created installation package for Kaspersky Mobile Security 7.0 Enterprise Edition > select properties > go to the Settings tab > click the Install via SMS button.
In the open window define the parameters of the GSM-modem, the URL of the installation file and the list of numbers of mobile devices, on which SMS to initiate installation of Kaspersky Mobile Security 7.0 Enterprise Edition should be sent.
Gaps, brackets and hyphens can be used to enter a number. The general number of the entered symbols should be not less than 3 and not more than 34. Out of these symbols, the number of significant symbols, i.e. the number of entered “+” and numbers, should be not less than 20.
To send an SMS once all data are entered, click the Send out button.
The list of numbers can be added from a txt-file, which has been earlier created in the same window. Or it can be created manually, according to the sample.
3. After the product installation perform the first synchronization of the device with the Administration Server: after installation of Kaspersky Mobile Security 7.0 Enterprise Edition run the product on the device. The user will be suggested to activate the application.
First synchronization should be performed manually only! According to the rules of how to develop applications for mobile devices, the application is forbidden to initiate connection with the network without the user’s permission.
After the first successful synchronization the device will appear in the PDAGroup group of the Network container in the Administration Console. The PDAGroup group appears in the Network container (in the domain view) once the first mobile device with installed Kaspersky Mobile Security 7.0 Enterprise Edition is detected.
If a message informing that the application cannot activate appears on the screen it means the synchronization was successful, but activation of the application failed.
4. In order to activate Kaspersky Mobile Security 7.0 Enterprise Edition (i.e. to install the license key file) in the administration group, into which you are going to relocate the mobile devices, create the policy. Load the key file to the policy. Next, relocate the mobile device from the PDAGroup group in the Network container into the required administration group. After the synchronization (which can be performed manually from the mobile device) Kaspersky Mobile Security 7.0 Enterprise Edition will be activated.
For the devices to be added automatically to the selected administration group, in the properties of the PDAGroup group set relocation of the detected devices.
