Concerning to Kaspersky Hosted Email Security

All messages pass several scan stages before they get into the client mail system:

Pre-Scan Anti-Virus – detects malicious programs already known to virus analytics of Kaspersky Labs but for which anti-virus database update used by Kaspersky Hosted Email Security service has not been released.

Message filtering by format – definite attachment types are blocked. It decreases the risk of getting infected objects in the corporate network.

Anti-Virus – provides a deep anti-virus scan

BitHunt – a special heuristic analyzer which was developed to scan mail traffic. The heuristic analyzer detects up to 95% of new malicious programs. BitHunt does not substitute but adds to the embedded means of the heuristic analyzer from Kaspersky Anti-Virus. All messages in which the malicious code has been detected are quarantined. An authorized administrator of a client can release items from the quarantine when required.
