Changes to any part of the internet’s DNS system can take up to 48 hours to apply. Once you have changed your MX record, allow at least 48 hours for mail to be directed at the service globally.
Note that during the 48 hour period mail will not be lost and either delivered via the previous route or through the service where DNS has been updated.
