  • 1. Download the archive imagecfg.zip and unpack its contents on the computer with the installed ISA-server.

    2. Run the utility ImageCfg.exe with the following parameters:

     ImageCfg.exe –on profile.xml wspsrv.exe

    3. Define the drive on which you can save the dump.

This drive should contain enough place to save the full memory dump whose size is equal to the physical memory installed on the computer.

    4. Restart Microsoft ISA Server Firewall using one of the methods given below:

      •  via Computer Management>Services

    or

      • from the command prompt net stop fwsrv/net start fwsrv

    5. Wait till the problem is reproduced once again. When Microsoft ISA Server Firewall crashes memory dump is created automatically on the drive defined by the user to the folder DbgDir.

    6. Once the dump is created, in order to return the system to its initial state:

    1. run the following command:

    ImageCfg.exe –off wspsrv.exe

    2. restart Microsoft ISA Server Firewall.

    7. Send the created dump to Technical Support experts via the Web-form. Do not forget to give detailed description of the problem and to attach the dump to your request.
