Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 Certifications

Virus Bulletin (VB 100%) Certification

In April 2008 Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 successfully passed certification tests conducted by VB-Comparatives on Windows Vista Business Edition SP1 and was awarded “VB 100%” certification.

“Virus Bulletin” ( http://www.virusbtn.com) regularly conducts anti-virus software attesting. In order to display the VB 100% logo, an anti-virus product must detect all viruses from the “WildList” (http://www.wildlist.org) which helps to show objectively if the anti-virus software is reliable.




AV-Comparatives Certification: Proactive comparative - ADVANCED+

In November 2007 Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 successfully passed certification tests conducted by independent laboratory AV-Comparatives (http://www.av-comparatives.org/) and got ADVANCED+ certification. This certification confirms that the heuristic analyzer in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 provides high detection and disinfection level of known malware detected. The component detects malicious programs analyzing their behaviour.


AV-Comparatives: On-demand comparative - ADVANCED+ Certification

In August 2007 Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 successfully passed certification tests conducted by independent laboratory AV-Comparatives (http://www.av-comparatives.org/) and got ADVANCED+ certification, confirming a high quality of on-demand Malware detection.

This test is based on a wide range and large collection of Malware which best tests the overall detection capabilities of Anti-Virus products

Logo "Intel Core 2 Duo" 

This logotype means Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 supports Intel Core 2 Duo technologies for PC’s: it allows using such advantages of modern dual core processors as increased performance of single and multi threaded applications and energy saving.

Logotype "Certified for Windows Vista"

The Logotype Certified for Windows Vista awarded by the Microsoft Company shows high quality of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 and proves its full compatibility with Windows Vista.

Checkmark Certification

Checkmark certification shows that Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 has been successfully tested in West Coast Labs on platforms Windows XP Professional and Windows Vista Business thus proving high quality of the program.

Checkmark is a multi-level procedure to test hardware and software security complexes, and to prove whether they correspond to the demanded quality standards. Defining the criteria of the product quality and testing are carried out in an independent research lab of the British research center West Coast Labs.

After testing Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 was granted the following certifications:
