Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0/7.0/2009 (all builds)
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations (all builds)
By co-use of Kaspersky Anti-Virus versions 6.0/7.0/2009 and the mail client The BAT! you can face one of the following problems:
sometimes when receiving a message in the plain text format attached infected files cannot be disinfected and information about the message receive does not get into the report file of the mail client The BAT!
when scanning an infected message of the format plain text Uuencode the number of infected objects in the message increases.
the plug-in of the Anti-Spam component is not displayed in the user’s interface of The Bat! If it was not installed during the initial installation of the product but was added later. The same problem can occur with the plug-in of the Mail Anti-Virus component.
If before installing Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0/7.0/2009 a password was installed in the mail client The BAT!, in this case plug-ins for the components Mail Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam will not be displayed in The BAT!
To rectify the first two problems install the latest version of the mail client The BAT! by downloading it from the vendor site. To rectify the last two problems from the list, do the following:
Open the mail client The Bat!
In the task bar select Options
In the drop-down menu select Preferences
In the left part of the dialog window in the Protection section select Anti-Virus
In the right part of the window in the Virus checking plug-ins block click the Add button
In the open dialog window choose the folder in which Kaspersky Lab product was installed
Choose the file:
for Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0 - kav60.bav
for Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 7.0/2009 -kav.bav

The same set of actions should be reproduced for the Anti-Spam component > select in The Bat! options > in the Protection section Anti-Spam. Add the kav60.tbp file (for version 6.0) or the kav.tbp file (for version 7.0/2009) from the folder in which Kaspersky Lab product was installed.
