In order to run/ stop gathering network activity information of the Network package analysis tool in Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, do the following: 

• Open the main application window 
• Select Content Filtering 
• Click the Network packages analysis in the right part of the window 
• Click the Run/ Stop button in the lower part of the Network package analysis statistics window
