If you have bought a license for a number of computers (2, 3, 5), then these activations have to be completed within 30 days of the first activation to benefit from the full license period in each case.
If you activate a Kaspersky Lab product version 2010/2009 on computers after 15 days have passed from the date of first activation with the same activation code, the license validity period of the application on these computers may be less, then the license validity period stated for the license, for example:
You bought a license for 5 computers for one year. You activated the application on the first computer on January 1, 2009 (The license expiry date would be January 1, 2010). The copies of the application on other computers were activated on February 10, 2009. The license validity period of the copies of the application on other computers would be less for 10 days then the license validity period stated for the license you had bought, because the activations were completed after 10 days had passed from the date of the first activation. Thus, the expiry date would be January 31, 2010. The matter is that activations have to be completed within 30 days of the first activation (in our example, it would have to be done during the period from 2 till 31 of January) to benefit from the full license period for every copy of the application.
Thus, the activation period can be presented by the following scheme:
Date of the first activation + 30 days.
