Kaspersky Internet Security 2009

Before you activate the application, make sure that date set on your computer is correct!

If after you have renewed the license you decide to continue using the Kaspersky Lab product version 2009, then in order to activate the product by the activation code, perform the following actions:

• Open the main application window.
• Click the License tab in the left bottom corner.
• Click Merge/delete in the right part of the window.
• In the Activation Wizard window click Activate online.

If your current license (license key) is valid for more than 2 weeks, then after you activate the application with the new activation code, the remaining validity period on your old or original license will be added to the new license validity. Therefore 2 license key information will be shown. Once the old license has expired, the backup or new license will start it's countdown.

The notice mentioned above does not  apply to the activation variant Activate trial version. If you currently have a trial key, applying a new Activation code will terminate the remaining validity period on the Trial License. If the trial version of the product was activated on your computer, then the Activate trial version variant will be missed in the Activation Wizard window!

However, if the current license is valid less than 2 weeks, activating the new activation code will result in the loss of the remaining validity period on the current license.

• In the Activation code field enter the activation code you received after renewal.

An activation code should be entered from the keyboard in Latin ONLY without any hyphens. The program calculates the number of entered symbols and automatically adds a hyphen where necessary. If an activation code was entered incorrectly, then once you click Next the following message will be displayed:

• check I already have a Custom ID and enter the details in the fields Customer ID and Password. Alternatively, if you no longer recall your customer ID and Password, please do not tick the box referring to this and just leave the fields blank. Click Next.

In order to successfully activate the application, the established Internet connection is required.

• Wait till the activation process is completed. After a successful online activation you will see your license information.
• click Finish.
