Concerning to:
  • Kaspersky Internet Security 2009
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009
  • When browsing through Internet sites and pages with your Kaspersky Lab’s product 2009 running, the following message might appear in the browser’s window:

If a similar message was displayed it means that a malicious or suspicious object was detected on one of the browsed pages . If you fully trust this Internet resource, you can send the link to the page with a suspected/ malicious object to Virus Lab for analysis.

Kaspersky Lab experts recommend sending Web Traffic report which contains all necessary and detailed information about the detected suspected/ malicious object.

In order to export the Web Traffic report into a file, do the following:

    • Open the main application window
    • Select Anti-Malware
    • In the right part of the window click Web Traffic
    • In the context menu select Reports and statistics
    • Select the date when the object was detected and the component which detected the object (in our case Web Traffic
    • Click the Save button in the upper right corner of the Reports window
    • Select the folder where you would like to save the file
    • Name the report file
    • Click Save
    • Close all windows

Once the report of the Web Traffic component was saved into a file you send a request to Virus Lab; give detailed description of the situation and attach the created report file to your request.

InformationThe dialog windows for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 are the same but with the corresponding product names.
