  • On August 25, 2009 Kaspersky Lab announces release of the patch "e" for Kaspersky Lab products version 2009 CF2.

    The full version number is 8.0.0.506

    Improvements:

    • Problem with entering personal data using virtual keyboard from Kaspersky Lab products version 2009 in the entry fields of web pages opened in Firefox 3.5 - 3.5.x has been fixed.

    Installation:

    In order to install the patch "e", perform the following actions:

    • run the Kaspersky Lab product version 2009 update
    • when the update process is successfully done, reboot your computer
    • after your computer starts, open the Support window by clicking the Support link in the left lower part of the main application window
    • if the patch is successfully installed, the letter "e" will appear in the version number of the application.

     

    If the copy of the product version 2009 from a CD which was attached to the magazine Computerbild is installed on your computer, then after you have successfully installed the patch the letter "a" will appear instead of the letter "e".
