Applies to all Kaspersky Lab products running under Windows OS
Sometimes when working on a computer with an embedded Intel video adapter and installed Kaspersky Lab product, the operating system may “blue screen” (Blue Screen of Death, BSOD).
When such situation occurs, the following message is displayed on the screen: "UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP. Technical Information: ***STOP: 0x0000007F (0x00000008, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)".
When a 64-bit OS "blue screens" (Blue Screen of Death, BSOD) an error message will display longer numeric values "Technical Information: *** STOP: 0x0000007F (0x0000000000000008,...)".
A possible cause of an error might be damaged driver of the Intel video adapter.
To resolve the situation you are recommended to upgrade the driver of the embedded Intel video adapter.
For this, perform the following actions:
- Download the necessary driver from the Intel official site.
- Double-click the downloaded file.
- Follow the steps of the Setup Wizard.
If an error is repeated, contact Kaspersky Lab Technical Support by sending a request via the My Kaspersky Account service. Give the following information in the request:
- Detailed description of the error occurrence.
- Complete dump of the operating system fall
