How to remove Agnitum Outpost products?

  • Sometimes after removal of Agnitum Outpost anti-virus software with the standard means and the computer restart some records may still remain in the system registry and prevent a Kaspersky Lab product from installation.

    Therefore, it is very important to completely uninstall Agnitum Outpost before installing a Kaspersky Lab product.

    Setup Wizard of a Kaspersky Lab product scans whether incompatible software is not installed on your computer. If some records remains in the system registry, the Kaspersky Lab Setup Wizard will define them as the installed incompatible software, regardless that the Agnitum product was uninstalled. Therefore, the Setup Wizard will asks to uninstall the incompatible software.

    In order to completely uninstall Agnitum Outpost from your system, perform the following actions:

    1. download the file clean.zip (for 32-bit systems) or clean64.zip (for 64-bit systems) (CLEAN (C) Agnitum Ltd)
    2. unpack it into the required folder using any archivator, for example, WinZip
    3. reboot in Safe Mode
    4. run the unpacked file clean.exe from the unpacked folder

    1. in the dialog window Clean that will open, confirm that you want to uninstall the Agnitum software by clicking the Yes button
    2. after the uninstallation is completed your computer will be restarted automatically.

    Try to install your Kaspersky Lab product once again.

    I cannot install a Kaspersky Lab product. What should I do?

    If all remains of your previous anti-virus software were removed, or you have not had any anti-virus software installed on your computer, but you cannot install a Kaspersky Lab product, then create a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky Account service. Attach the following info:
