Concerning toKaspersky Internet Security 7.0 (all builds)
If Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 is installed on your PC and the Anti-Spam component is enabled, then Mail Dispatcher will not open when some messages are received if:
sender’s address has earlier been added to “white” list of addresses
mail is received by encrypted connection, but connection scan is not configured in the program settings
mail is accepted by a protocol different from POP3
To manage the “white” list of addresses, do the following:
open the main application window
go to Settings > Protection > Anti-Spam
in the right part of the Settings window in the Connectivity section make sure the option Open Mail Dispatcher when receiving mail is enabled
in the Sensitivity section click the Customize button
on the White list tab in the Custom Settings: Anti-Spam window edit the list of white addresses sent to your mailbox. Add trusted addresses to the list or delete from the list the addresses which require opening of the Mail Dispatcher
For Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 to scan mail by encrypted connection and to open Mail Dispatcher when receiving mail, do the following:
open the main application window
go to Settings > Service > Traffic monitoring
in the right part of the Settings window in the Encrypted connections section select Prompt for scan when a new encrypted connection is detected (in this case a pop-up window is displayed confirming connection check) or the option Check all encrypted connections (in this case all encrypted connections will be checked).
