If you migrate from one version of Windows Vista (for example from Vista Basic to Vista Ultimate), then once the OS is updated the previously installed Kaspersky Lab’s product version 6.0\7.0\2009 will function partially or will not function at all.

This problem is that the NDIS driver used in Kaspersky Lab’s products versions 6.0\7.0\2009 cannot install automatically in the new version of Windows Vista due to features of the operating system.

To restore the correct function of Kaspersky Lab’s product version 6.0\7.0\2009, do the following:

• uninstall the current version of the product saving its configuration 
• download the latest version distributive of the Kaspersky Lab’s product from the official site: http://www.kaspersky.com/productupdates 
• for Kaspersky Lab’s products version 6.0 
• Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0\Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 download build 6.0.2.621 
• Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations download build 6.0.3.837 
• for Kaspersky Lab’s products version 7.0 download build 7.0.1.325 
• for Kaspersky Lab's products version 2009 downlopad build 8.0.0.454
• run the downloaded file 
• install the latest product version 
• restart your PC
