Concerning to Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 (all builds)
Four limitation levels are predefined for the Parental Control component in Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0:
High limitation level performs the maximum control over the user who works in the internet. The following categories of web-sites are blocked:
- pornography, erotic material
- drugs
- violence
- explicit language
- weapons
- gambling
- chat
- internet mail
Medium limitation level is set with the recommended default settings. The following categories of web-sites are blocked for this level:
- pornography, erotic material
- drugs
- violence
- explicit language
- weapons
- gambling
Low is the minimum limitation level. The following categories of web-sites are blocked for this level:
- pornography, erotic material
- drugs
- violence
- explicit language
Custom is not a predefined level whose contents do not correspond to any limitation level mentioned above. Once you have changed the settings manually of any pre-defined level and saved them, a newly created (changed) level –Custom – appears.
In order to go to the settings menu click the Customize button in the Limitation level section.
The following settings can be customized for each limitation level:
The Category tab:
- pornography, erotic material – prohibits to open web-sites with erotic and pornography material
- drugs - prohibits to open web-sites about drugs
- violence - prohibits to open web-sites that show violence
- explicit language - prohibits to open web-sites with explicit language
- weapons - prohibits to open web-sites about weapons
- gambling - prohibits to open web-sites with gambling
- chat - prohibits to open web-sites with chats
- internet mail - prohibits to open web-sites with embedded e-mail
The “White list” tab:
Editing of “white” list (list of allowed web-sites, to which the component rules do not trigger) by clicking the buttons Add, Edit or Delete.
The “Black list” tab:
Editing of “black” list (list of web-sites, which will be blocked irrespective of the pre-configured rules) by clicking the buttons Add, Edit or Delete.
