  • In its work each component of Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 7.0 logs its Statistics which depending on the settings of the Anti-Virus contains information either about infected/suspicious for infection objects or about all scanned objects. To manage Statistics in Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 7.0, do the following: 

    • Open the main application window 
    • Click the Settings menu 
    • In the left part of the window click Reports and data files

     

    The following settings can be configured for Statistics:

    • Log non-critical events – logs to a report file all events of Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 7.0
    • Keep only recent events – logs to a report fie events from the current session only. When the session is finished all report files will be deleted
    • Delete reports after – configures the period to store report files on a hard drive. The default period is 30 days
    • Delete reports from Quarantine and Backup after - configures the period to store report files in the Quarantine and Backup. The default period is 90 days.

    InformationThe dialog windows for Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 are the same but with corresponding product names and the number of components in the Protection menu
