Reports on the different aspects of network protection can be created based on the events stored in the Administration Server database.
Reports are created using configurable templates. Kaspersky Administration Kit supports more than ten different template types. The Administration Server already contains one template for each type when it is installed. The administrator may also create his/her own templates.
Templates under the same type can differ in scope. In other words, they provide information about different parts of the network and different reporting periods. In addition, the administrator can, to a limited extent, control the contents of reports through template settings.
Reports using templates can be generated manually, and then they will open as HTML pages in a standard browser, or they can be generated using a schedule. In the second case, reports are sent to an assigned e-mail address.
