Chapter 8. Protecting Large Networks

The last chapter describes peculiarities with protecting enterprise-wide networks. If it comes to deploying and managing anti-virus protection in multi-site company the best way is to use hierarchical systems. Kaspersky Administration Kit supports server hierarchy so it is possible to create a complex distributed system which operates as a single whole.

Creating hierarchical system assumes inheriting tasks and policies, generating system-wide reports and other common operations. Sometimes it is also needed to switch clients between Administration Servers as they are migrating in the network. All of these questions are covered in the Chapter.
