•  locally 
• via the Internet

To update the anti-virus databases from a local folder, do the following: 

• Select that update type and set the value to Search on phone. The application will use database updates on your smartphone. 

• Download the new database file to your smartphone using any convenient method from: ftp://ftp.kaspersky.ru/bases/av/avc/symbian/kav20sym.avc . When updating starts, Kaspersky Anti-Virus automatically detects the latest database file and copies to its directory replacing the old database file with the new one.
