Concerning to Kaspersky Anti-Virus Mobile version 2.xxx (for Symbian Smartphones Series 60)

Kaspersky Anti-Virus Mobile can be updated in the following ways: locally or from the Internet. To update the anti-virus databases via Internet, do the following: 

  • Launch Kaspersky Anti-Virus Mobile 
  • Enable / disable the access point request (You can set up an access point using the information provided by your mobile operator) on the Settings tab the Default access point value.

Information If you select No, then connection will occur via the access point used during the last update.If the request is enabled, you will see an offer to select the access point from the list of available.

 

  • on the Update tab select Update AV Database

Information By default, the application uses the settings recommended by Kaspersky Lab experts. If you want to restore these default settings, open the Update tab and select Set Default item from the Options menu.

Information If you have configured Kaspersky Anti-Virus to update using the smartphone's web browser, then selection of the Update AV Database item in the Update tab will launch the browser, which will download updates to the anti-virus databases. After downloading, Kaspersky Anti-Virus automatically copies updates to its directory.
