To select the update source, perform the following steps: 

• Launch Kaspersky Anti-Virus 
• Use the Update page to access the Update Settings item 

• Select the update source: 
• Local updates: the application will use database updates on your smartphone. To select that update type, set the value to Search on phone. 
• Web-based updates: the application will download updates fro the servers of Kaspersky Lab. To select that update type, set the value to Update via WAP if you wish to use WAP or Update via HTTP if you wish to download updates using HTTP. Select Use Browser if you want to retrieve updates using the browser of your smartphone.

To update the database via the Internet, your smartphone must have a GPRS connection (for updating via HTTP) or a WAP connection.
