To update the anti-virus databases via the Internet, do the following:

Information To update the database via the Internet, your smartphone must have a GPRS connection (for updating via HTTP) or a WAP connection.

  • Enable / disable the access point request (the Ask for Access Point setting).

Information You can set up an access point using the information provided by your mobile operator.

If you select Off, then connection will occur via the access point used during the last update. If the request is enabled, you will see an offer to select the access point from the list of available points

  • If necessary use the Update URL command to specify the update server address

By default, updates are retrieved from a Kaspersky Lab’s update server at: http://ftp.kaspersky.com/index/mobile.xml.

Warning Irrespective of whether the internet connection was opened earlier, it will be closed once the update is completed

If you selected updating using a web browser, then Kaspersky Anti-Virus, once it is started, will launch the smartphone's web browser, download the updates and will then automatically copy them into its working directory.
