The task of remote deinstallation using login script is created by New task wizard. Run the Wizard from the context menu of the Global tasks node by the Add task link.

If the remote deinstallation task with login script is successful it means changes have been added to user’s login script, but it does not men the application was uninstalled on a client computer!

The Wizard's steps are the following:

1. In the welcome window click Next.

2. Enter new task name and click Next.

3. In the Select application window type of task and application that executes the task are specified.

Choose in the Application list - Kaspersky Administration Kit, and in the Task type list - Product deinstallation task.

Click Next

4.In the next window select an application to uninstall on a client computer. It may be one of Kaspersky Lab applications in the Application to uninstall drop-down list or you can select a third-party vendor application. To uninstall a third-party vendor application check Uninstall the external application and choose the necessary application in the Application to uninstall list.

Click Next.

5. In the Remote uninstall method window choose Uninstall using a startup script and click Next.

6. Select the users to perform the task for and click Next.

7. On this step you can define the user account under which the task will start. The account should: 

• have the right to change startup scripts in the database of the controller domain; 
• have the local administrator right for the computer on which the application is being uninstalled.

You can choose either the account under which the Administration Server runs (Default account) or enter the parameters of a specified account.

On this step of the task creation the data you have specified are not checked for validity! If you misprint the password or the user's name then the application is not deinstalled.

Click Next to continue.

8. In the Task scheduling settings window choose when you want to execute the task. The task can be executed once or periodically.

In some cases it can be reasonable to create a periodic task, if at the moment of the task execution some computers are switched off. Still if the task need be configured additionally before it is started, select Manually, change additional parameters and configure the schedule once again (in the task properties)

Click Next.

9. In the Completing the New Task Wizard window of product deployment task to confirm the task creation, click Finish.

When created the task appears in the Global tasks node.

You can view the task execution in the History window. To open the window, go to Task > Properties > the General tab > History. Result of the successful task execution are changes added to the startup script of each account.
