Kaspersky PURE: My Computer Protection

Vulnerability scan is a special tool which helps to search and eliminate security vulnerabilities of applications, installed on your computer, and in operating system settings.

The vulnerability scan task can be started using an existing shortcut. To create the shortcut for the task, please do the following:

• Open the main window of Kaspersky PURE 
• In the left part of the window select My Computer Protection
• In the right upper corner of the My Computer Protection window click Settings 
• In the window Settings – My Computer Protection select Scan My Computer 
• In the right part of the window in the section Scan tasks quick run next to Vulnerability Scan click the button Create shortcut 
• By default the shortcut is saved on the Desktop but you can specify a different location 
• To confirm creation of the shortcut click the Save button in the Save as window 
• In the window Settings – My Computer Protection click OK
• If Parental Control is enabled then in the Password checking window enter your password and click OK 
• In the window My Computer Protection click OK 
• Minimize the main window

The shortcut for vulnerability scan will be displayed in the selected location:
