The KLeaner utility is designed to remove from the user's computer third-party products offered by competing vendors. It is also useful in cases, when you need to upgrade certain applications of Kaspersky Lab, for example, Kaspersky Anti- Virus 5.0 to 6.0 (the utility is used to remove version 5.0). The order of required actions resulting in correct removal of applications is described in INI files created individually for each application.
Created INI files are placed into the folder where the utility will be launched later (in case of an application upgrade, the corresponding INI file is copied by program installer while in case of competing products' removal it should be done manually). The utility uses the information from those files for its purpose.
