Kaspersky Security 9.0 for Microsoft Exchange Servers Maintenance Release 1 has been released on June 15, 2015 . Full version number is 9.1.42.0

Improvements and new features

  • The feature of scanning mailboxes and public folders using Exchange Web Services for Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 has been added.
  • The functionality for handling information security incidents has been extended. The following features have been added:
    • Search for similar incidents
    • Copying detailed information about an incident to the clipboard
    • Sending information about the incident to your e-mail address
    • Display of the subcategory name in the context of an incident
  • New Anti-Spam kernel version 5.5.6 has been integrated.
  • Enhanced Anti-Phishing, including scanning of images and attachments for phishing activity.
  • The feature of configuring automatic updates about new categories for DLP Module has been added.
  • Logging of events has been improved. The following features have been added:
    • Selecting folders to store application logs
    • Setting the minimum time for storing application logs
  • The Management Console interface design has been improved.

Main known issues

  • DLP Module does not scan messages that contain embedded messages ( TNEF ).
  • In some cases, upgrading the application to the version 9.0 Maintenance Release 1 returns the following error: “Cannot create a row of size <N> which is greater than the allowable maximum row size of 8060. The statement has been terminated”. To solve this issue, run the following command in SQL Server Management Studio: DBCC CleanTable ('database name', 'IncidentsMetadata', 0). Restart the application upgrade.
