Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 3.0 Service Pack 1 has been released on April 6, 2016.
is an integrated solution providing comprehensive protection for virtual machines powered by a VMware ESXi, Citrix XenServer, KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) or Microsoft Windows Server hypervisor in the Hyper-V role against known and new threats, network and phishing attacks.
The application protects virtual machines with Microsoft Windows server and desktop guest operating systems.
Improvements and fixes
- It is now possible to specify several network interfaces for an SVM. If you intend to use dynamic IP addressing (DHCP) for SVMs, when specifying several network interfaces you must make sure that the first interface in the list is the interface through which the setup wizard will be able to connect to the SVM..
- You can now deploy SVMs on several hypervisors of different types simultaneously.
- A Light Agent policy can now be used to create a list of SVMs to which Light Agents should connect.
- The Integration Server through which SVMs send information about themselves to Light Agents is now supported.
- Support of additional types of hypervisors and guest operating systemshas been added.
