Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 4.0 Agentless offers the following new features:
- Compatibility with the VMware NSX for vSphere platform is now supported.
- Virtual machines with an NTFS or FAT32 file system can be scanned while they are powered off.
- An SVM with the File Anti-Virus component is installed with an SNMP agent that can send information about the status of the SVM to the SNMP Monitoring system of your organization's network. If your organization has an SNMP Monitoring system installed, you can use the SNMP protocol to receive information about the status of SVMs deployed in the virtual infrastructure.
- You can connect the Integration Server to several VMware vCenter Servers in order to obtain from them information about the VMware virtual infrastructure.
- There is now a single unified procedure for installing the Kaspersky Security administration plug-in and Integration Server. The Kaspersky Security administration plug-in and the Integration Server Management Console are installed with the help of a Setup Wizard for Kaspersky Security management components. You can also start installation from the command line.
- You can change the configuration of SVMs by applying the configuration settings specified in the configuration file ksv.cfg on all selected SVMs.
- After installing the Kaspersky Security administration plug-in, the anti-virus database update task is automatically created. This task is started each time an update package is downloaded to the storage of Kaspersky Security Center Administration Server, and it lets you update the anti-virus databases on all SVMs.
